Eurocopter Tiger

Development of the Tiger began in the Cold War, with the goal of being an anti-tank helicopter to combat a Soviet invasion of Europe. The Soviet Union collapsed before completion, but France and Germany continued development for multiple roles including close air support, armed reconnaissance, escort, surveillance, and post nuclear/chemical/biological warfare operations.

This multirole attack helicopter has a glass cockpit, stealth technology and high agility. It’s been used with various weapons and engines in combat, including Libya, Mali and Afghanistan.
